Derek Anderson wrote his first story in second grade and he hasn't stopped writing or drawing since. He is the author-illustrator of the Croc and Ally books, and also illustrated Little Quack, which became a New York Times Best Seller. He currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Mr. Fitzgerald said sharks like to circle their food while they decide if it looks tasty. I must have left my scooter in the yard. The shark started riding it around our house. And around.
