In this fifth instalment in this hilarious and endearing series, it’s community week at the Undys’ flats. Meet the Undys’ weird and wonderful neighbours and laugh out loud as they tackle the world’s strongest man (almost), try to outwit each other in a wife-carrying race and their careers as ‘mannies’ makes national TV. As always, the pace is frenetic, the humour is laugh-out-loud and the reader is encouraged by short chapters and an End of Chapter Reward Scheme which provides inducements such as word puzzles, join the dots, how to draw an excellent face, and a picture puzzle.

Michael Wagner is the author of the Maxx Rumble Football and Maxx Rumble Cricket series - 16 children's books bursting with madcap sporting action - and the acclaimed Dog Wars, a novel about wrestling fleas and fighting dogs. Michael loves writing books that are amusing, exciting and accessible to everyone. Before becoming a full-time writer, Michael worked for ten years with ABC as a radio broadcaster. He lives in Melbourne with his wife Jane Godwin (also a children's author) and his two children, Will and Lizzie. About the illustrator: Gus Gordon is an illustrator based on the northern beaches of Sydney. Gus studied at the Julian Ashton School of Art while drawing cartoons for a variety of magazines and newspapers. He illustrated his first book in 1996, and has since illustrated over 30 children's books.
