Sinds 1989 creëert en vervaardigt Brand van Egmond handgemaakte lichtsculpturen en design verlichting en is uitgegroeid tot een toonaangevend atelier dat wereldwijd bekend staat om haar verrassende collectie beeldende moderne verlichting. Vanuit het atelier in Naarden wordt er gestreefd naar de hoogste kwaliteit handgemaakte verlichting voor particuliere klanten, (interieur)architecten en stylisten over de hele wereld. De diverse lichtsculpturen en design verlichting worden toegepast in de mooiste particuliere woningen, zoals woonkamer verlichting, slaapkamerverlichting en keukenverlichting, maar ook horeca- en kantoorruimtes.

" Lighting Sculptures" provides an overview of the stunning lighting creations designed by William Brand and his wife Annet van Egmond, known collectively as Brand van Egmond. The book sheds light on the design process and offers an insight into the way the company's 'sculptures' have developed, how they work and what inspires the team creatively. The designs of Brand van Egmond can be found all over the globe - from the private houses of such celebrities as Kanye West and Beyonce Knowles and the boutiques of fashion designer Marlies Dekkers, to the lobby of Jamie Oliver's restaurant Fifteen in Amsterdam and the Hilton hotel in Paris.
